In an intro to smithing class, I learned how to forge, solder, patina, along with many other practices. I made a wearable arm band inspired by Saint Michael the Archangel - his sword turns into a feather at the hilt. I also created fold formed flowers to put inside the glass blown bag I made. Both pieces were made to be in my couture thesis collection.
